Cohen. Post 2

This post is not going to be about one specific product. I want to address and industry as a whole and how they are using social media today. Network marketing appears to be making a come back. As a child I remember a friend that parents sold Amway. My parents never wanted to go to their home in fear of being pressured to buy into not only the Amway products but this "lifestyle" that came with it. They used heavy sales pitches, were aggressive and it was overall uncomfortable.

Well now, you do not have to leave your living room for that same experience. Whether it is face wash that promises you will look young forever, diet shakes that will make you the healthiest you have ever been or mascara that makes your lashes look like a tarantula took a nap on your face, they all have the same message. Buy from me and not only will your lashes look better, skin look better and you will be bikini ready but you can also join me on a journey to be financially free and independently successful. That is a whole lotta promising in just one little Facebook post but I see it every day and it all sounds very similar.

These companies have instructed their sales people to put out these messages and these promises of success in a relentless manner. I know a lot of these people, and I know they are not making enough money to live let alone have "financial freedom". These messages are put out their to lure more people in and let the cycle continue so the big executives can make more money on their consultants that unfortunately end up failing and quitting.

This sort of technique gives me a terrible taste and not want to buy any of these types of products. They may have something good but their sales tactics totally turn me off to the point I will not even try.
